Carr, Rosemary Katherine (nee Snyder) age 87.  Life-long Chicago resident died January 6 2014.  Beloved wife of the late Arthur Alexander;  devoted mother of Cathy, Linda (John) Nelson, Arthur, Maureen, Elizabeth (Paul) Lundberg, the late Christopher, and the late Evelyn;  loving grandmother of Timothy C. (Cristina), Caroline Lundberg, Olivia (Ludwig) Baumgartner, Claire Nelson, Linnea Lundberg, Alexander, George,  and Matthew;  great-grandmother of Cameron and Jacob;  dear sister of Nancy Markeson of Las Vegas, the late William Snyder, the late Daniel Snyder, and the late James Snyder;  fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Rosemary graduated from Mundelein College in 1949 with an English degree.  She was a dedicated teacher in the Chicago public and private school systems for over 40 years and a devoted member of St. Matthias parish for over 60 years.  At her request there will be a private interment.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Jan 20th at St. Matthias Church.  Mass at 10:00 a.m.
