Rory Trausch, retired CPD, age 65, of Kona, Hawaii and Edison Park and formerly of Rogers Park, passed away suddenly on June 8, 2020. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Turek) for 14 years. Loving father of Lauren (Tim) Edeling and Kimberly Trausch. Cherished grandfather of 'one on the way'. Dear brother of Gerry (Ann), Gail (John) Gloria (the late Mike), Georgia (Jim), Lenore, and the late Glenn, Bob (Marlene), and Gina (Jim). Fond uncle and friend to many. When working, he was active in the 24th and 17th districts. He was also the president of the German American Police Association. A memorial visitation will occur Saturday, June 13, 2020 on a socially responsible rotation between 1pm-5pm at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 W. Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, Il 60068.
