Robert Joseph Mines January 19, 1935 - November 10, 2014 Robert Joseph Mines, 79 of Park Ridge, IL passed away peacefully on November 10, 2014 at his home with his family at his side. Born on January 19, 1935 in Chicago and was the son of the late Clarence and Frida Mines.  Beloved husband of Margaret (Voegeli).  Dear brother of the late Richard Mines and the late William Mines. Loving father of Timothy J. (Anne) Mines, Michelle M. (Albert) Bettuzzi, Laura M. (Christopher) Denver and Kathleen M. (Monty) Williams. Grandfather to 14 very loved grandchildren. Robert graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1957 with a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Finance.  He received his Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University in 1958.  Robert spent a short time in engineering and spent the remainder of his career in the banking industry. Robert served in the Air National Guard of Illinois and the Reserve of the United States Air Force from 1957 through 1963. Visitation: Wednesday, November 12th 3:00-9:00 pm at Cooney Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 625 Busse Highway, Park Ridge IL 60068. Service will begin Thursday, November 13th at 9:00 am at the funeral home and process to Mary Seat of Wisdom, 920 Granville, Park Ridge, IL 60068 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
