Robert Walter Jaeger

Age 78, of Park Ridge, IL, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of hard work, love, and cherished memories. Born in Chicago, Robert dedicated his life to his family and his craft, working tirelessly as a skilled tool and die maker.

A true outdoorsman, he found joy in staying active, appreciating nature, and sharing stories that brought laughter and warmth to those around him. His strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones will always be remembered.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Janet; his children, Robert, Michael, and Susan Bartels (Mark); and his adored grandchildren, Henry, Evelyn, Coralyn, and Cathryn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley.

A celebration of his life will be held at a future date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.

His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
