Robert Donnelly - Age 78, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024. He joins his parents, Harry and Rita and father-in-law, Ilija, in heaven. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Alvina.  Loving father of Kristina (Bob) McDonough, Kathleen (Rickey) Deadwyler, and Kimberly (Tim) Chamlin. Proud grandfather of Robert and Devin McDonough, Kaleia and Cameron Deadwyler, and Michael Chamlin. Fond son-in-law of Marianna Dragojlovich. He was a graduate of St. Andrew School and Gordon Tech High School. He proudly served in the United States Army and afterwards worked at WGN TV for 32 years. He was a devoted friend and coach to many of the St. Andrew Parish. He focused on the simple things in life: family, friends, and laughter. He will be greatly missed by all.  A Memorial Gathering will take place Thursday April 11, at Midtown Funeral Home at 3918 W.
