Richard J. Wachholder - 84 passed away peacefully at his home in Phoenix on July 4, 2015.  Richard was a Veteran of the United States Army.  Beloved husband of the late Barbara J. Wachholder (nee Templeton).   Richard , formerly of Chicago, is survived by his children, Gail Vaughn, Ken (Lisa) Wachholder and Rick (Sheila) Wachholder.  Loving brother of Robert; fond uncle to many and grandfather to Ryan.  Richard is also survived by many more friends and family.  Memorial visitation Friday Oct. 23 from 3-7 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy Park Ridge.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
