Richard "Red" Doyle - age 91 - passed away peacefully on March 30th. Devoted son of the late Jim and Mary "Bab" Doyle of County Wicklow Ireland. Loving brother of Maureen Doyle  and the late Jack (late Eileen) Doyle. Beloved Uncle of Mary Pat Doyle. Dear cousin and friend of many. Red was a graduate of St. Matthias Grammar School and St. George High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy in the Submarine service during the Korean War. Member of Local 399 and American Legion Tattler Post 973. He focused on the simple things in life: family, friends, and laughter. He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held Wednesday 3:00pm-8:00pm at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Thursday, friends and family are asked to meet at St. Monica Church for 10:00am mass.
