Rebecca Ann Herbig (Becca).  November 16, 2000 – August 2, 2019.  Cherished daughter of Steve and Terese (nee Crema) Herbig;  Loving sister of Patrick and the late Sophia and family dog, Maggie;  Dear granddaughter, niece, cousin, devoted teammate and friend to many.  Becca, a true city girl, avid Cubs fan and a Camp Nicolet lady.  Graduated Blaine Elementary School, 2015 and Lane Tech High School, 2019.  A fierce competitor for Evolution Volleyball Academy and a Varsity Coxswain for Chicago Rowing Foundation.  Class of 2023 San Diego State University scholarship student-athlete as Coxswain for Women's Rowing, majoring in Psychology.  Visitation Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 3918 W. Irving Park Rd.  Funeral Wednesday, prayers at 9:15 a.m. going to St. Andrew Church for 10 a.m. Mass.  Interment Queen of Heaven.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Becca's honor to Pets are Worth Saving (pawschicago.org) or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org).
