Randy Starzyk, age 59, passed away peacefully after a brief illness with lung cancer on September 1. He was son of the late George and Donna, brother of the late George, Regina and Jennifer (Dan) Sweetman.  Uncle of Kevin, Patrick, Brendan, Charlie, Olivia and Jake.  He was a hard worker who worked in the garbage industry most of his life and took pride in anything he did. He despised seeing trash on the ground and always stopped to pick it up. In lieu of flowers, in his memory, please do not litter and take pride in your surroundings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7 from 3 – 8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge, IL.  Burial private at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
