Father of Mary (Ken) Gennett, Anne Sullivan, Philip (Beverly) and Kathleen (Art) Kraft.  Dearest Papa of Philip, Richie and Steven (Danielle) Sullivan; Kevin, Brian and Philip O'Connor and Matthew Iannacco.  Great-grandfather of Aidan O'Connor and Gabriel Sullivan.  Brother of Eamon (Kitty) O'Connor He is preceded in death by his siblings Maureen, Michael and Kathleen. Born in CastleIsland, Co. Kerry, Ireland to Edward and Hannah O'Connor.  Phil came to Chicago to live out his dreams.  He retired from the CTA after 42 years of dedicated service and was a longtime member and contributor of the Irish American Heritage Center.  Visitation at  Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Saturday, Family and Friends are asked to meet at St. James Church, 841 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Hts.  Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Interment All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Misericordia or St. Patrick Fathers would be appreciated.
