MR. PERRY LUCIUS THACHER, JR. 84, passed away on Wednesday, October 27,2021 at the Freeport Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Roule, his father Perry Thacher, Sr and his son, Perry III. Survived by his wife Barbara; children Gary (Ann) Thacher, Laura (Craig) Scope and Robert (Pauline) Thacher; stepdaughters Linda and Candice. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Perry was a military veteran and served in the 1950's, stationed overseas. He enjoyed going to auctions and obtaining vast amounts of watches and knives. During his younger days, Perry was an avid motorcycle rider and throughout his life was a big animal lover. Long time employee of the Beltone Hearing Aid Company. Memorial Visitation Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:30pm at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Highway, Park Ridge, Il.
