Paul Oneil Tidwell--Born September 29, 1934 in Gibson Tennessee. He passed away at home in Chicago from cancer on Saturday July 21st, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Pearl Boone Tidwell, Dennis Tidwell, and brother Delbert Tidwell (Joanne). Loving husband to Linda Gourley Tidwell; loving father to Paulette Tidwell Wright (Robert), Gene Tidwell (Trish), John Tidwell (Sandy), and Lannie Carter; dear grandfather to four, and great grandfather to two; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is survived by three brothers: Jere Tidwell (Helen), Bill Tidwell (Karen), and Don Tidwell. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2-8 PM at Cooney Funeral Home located at 3918 W Irving Park Rd in Chicago.
