Paul Alan Buckley, 59, passed away unexpectedly on August 26th, 2021.  Paul was the loving father of Kersti, Sarah, Connor and Gavin.  Beloved son of Alan (Joan) Buckley and the late Kersti.  Fond brother of Kim (Dave) Shivalec and uncle to Alexandra, Samantha and Nicholas. Dedicated former POC Fireman, Mount Prospect. Paul's passions were flying his drones, listening to his police scanner, being an amateur weatherman and talking with his children about anything and everything. He was a self-taught Mr. fix it, loved helping people and put those skills to great use in his job at Abbott Labs.  He made friends easily and will be missed by many. .  A memorial visitation will be held on Friday from 3-6 p.m. at  Cooney Funeral Home  625 Busse hwy in Park Ridge.  847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com.
