Patrick Gerard Mc Andrew Age 56 of Des Plaines. Passed away under the care of Rainbow Arc hospice at Resurrection Hospital with his family by his side on December 13th, 2016. Beloved son of Joseph (RIP) and Teresa Mc Andrew. Survived by Loving wife Nadia (nee Iwasiw) Loving son Alexander. Brothers; Michael (Kathy) of Boston, George of Ballinrobe, Kevin (Karen) Sean, Martin (Mairead) of Hollymount. Sisters; Mary (Scott) Clare (Martin) Hollymount, Veronica (RIP) Along with in-laws; Father in-law Alexander (RIP) and Tania Iwasiw, Brother in-law Alexander (Theresa) Iwasia. Uncle of Nicole, Alexis, Theresa, Sara, Andrew, Kevin, Annie, Katie, Michael, Eva. And Lifelong friends from the Christian Brothers School of Ballinrobe: Kevin O'Malley and Seamus Moran, just to name a few. He was dedicated to his job for over 29 years at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago. Patrick achieved his  position as Assistant Director of Security, he cherished his co-workers, the patrons who got to know him, and visiting dignitaries. Patrick loved being among people, playing cards, and he enjoyed Irish set-dancing in his youth. His bright character and quick wit brought laughter to all. He was such a gentleman brimming with charm and charisma; it was so easy to love him. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday the 19th 2016 at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy.
