Patrick Francis Gavin, age 76, born in Chicago on February 8, 1946 and died in Las Vegas October 18, 2022. Patrick was the son of William and Mary Ann Gavin. On December 7, 1968, Patrick and Chris were married and had a daughter, Mary. Patrick enjoyed reading the Bible, enjoyed long walks, Irish music, and crossword puzzles. Patrick is survived by his grandchildren Rachael Chavez and Emily Chavez, sister, Virginia Mary (Gavin) Cooke, and brother, Martin Gavin. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Ann (O'Grady) Gavin, his siblings, William (Buddy) Gavin, John (Jack) Gavin, Michael Gavin, James Gavin, Noreen (Gavin) Penny and Kathleen (Gavin) Cooke and his grandson Christopher Chavez. Visitation will be held at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Cooney Funeral Home.
