Patrick Joseph Foley, 92, slept peacefully away on January 18, 2022 surrounded by his children. Pat was married to the late Madonna (Meegan) for 65 years, and is survived by his nine children; Mary, Colleen (Ed), Brigid (Tim), Suzanne (John), Brian (Colleen), Maureen "Momo" (Jim), Kevin, Patrick "Packy", and Michael (Melissa); his 20 grandchildren, Kim, Katie, Brad, Danny, Brian, Ryan, Timmy, Matthew "Bubba", Julie, Theresa, Colleen, Meghan, Danny, Grace, Moira, Tara, Tricia, Riley, Kyle, and Evan;  his 9 great-grandchildren, Kiely, James, Thea, Charlie, Leo, Janie, Agnes, Gavin, and Molly; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Meegan and Therese Dion; his brother-in-law, Jack Quigley; his nieces and nephews, and many wonderful and caring friends. His late parents, Thomas and Emily, raised Pat, his late brother, James (Corinne), and his late sister, Ruth (Jack) Quigley in Chicago. He attended De La Salle High School and went on to graduate from DePaul University before serving as a Marine in the Korean War. One of his favorite pastimes was attending the games of his favorite sports teams, the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks. He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity and humility, as well as his great sense of humor and his joy for life. He lived and loved so well. A memorial service will take place in the Spring.
