Patricia Ann Schuman (Nee Nickrand), 76, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 24th. Patricia was born in Chicago to Betty and Joseph Nickrand. There, she grew up with her two older siblings, Mary and Charles, playing under the tracks behind their home on Wolfram Street. She lived in Chicago all her life, and it is where she began to build her family with husband Jack Zubor. She first had Michael then quickly had Jack then Michelle, all within 2 years. Many years later, she would have her fourth child, Leslie. Although she met Raymond Schuman through her sister Mary's husband, LLoyd (they were brothers) several years before, they didn't marry until 1965. Two years later, Leslie was born. Patricia's family was everything to her; she held on to them through heartaches and joy, and relished every moment with them. Her brother and sister were her rocks and her greatest sources of fun all throughout her life. She loved to go out 'antiquing' with them, only to come home and chat with them on the phone all through the night.She is survived by her brother Charles Nickrand (Candice), son Michael Zubor (Janelle), and daughter, Leslie Lundberg (John), Grandmother to Michael Zubor, Jr. , Samantha Zubor; Brittany Lundberg and John Lundberg, Jack Zubor Jr. and Great Grandmother to Anthony and Benjamin.She was deeply loved, and will be greatly missed. Visitation on Saturday, June 3rd at Cooney Funeral Home 3918 W. Irving Park Rd. from 1-4pm.
