Patricia Ann "Patti Ann" Thornton (nee Gallagher)--Beloved wife of Tommy Joe; very proud mother of Megan and Joey; dear sister of Michael, CPD retired, (Clemencia) Gallagher; loving daughter of the late Patsy and Bernie Gallagher; dear sister-in-law of Pat (Kathie) Thornton, Mary Thornton, Michael (Joanne) Thornton and Eileen (Sean) Kearns; fun and loving aunt of Michael (Carly), Molly, Annemarie and Aileen Thornton, Jason Thornton and Lauren and Emma Kearns, and great aunt to Maeve Thornton; niece to many aunts and uncles; a true friend to all that she knew.

Patti was the beloved Manager of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Hematology/Oncology at Advocate Children's Hospital--Park Ridge. She saved the lives of many children over her 22-year career at the hospital and treasured her time there.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Funeral Friday, family and friends are asked to meet at Immaculate Conception Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. A livestream of Mass can be viewed at http://www.twitch.tv/icchicago Interment private.
