Habel.  Proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Member of the Irish American Heritage Center and The Donegal Association., St. Mathias Class of 1945 and St. George High School Class of 1949 and DePaul University Class of 1959.  Veteran of U.S. Navy 1951-1955.  Retiree from Kemper Insurance, Long Grove, 1949-1995.  Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, Sunday from 3 to 8p.m.  Funeral, Monday 8:45 a.m. to St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1201 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine.  Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
