Our beloved Nina

Nina Rivera was born on June 4, 1951 to Paula Rodriguez. On June 22, 2020, at the age of 69, she entered the heavenly gates joining her daughter Lina Gomez and brother Louie Rivera. Nina was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend to many. She is survived by her mother Paula Rodriguez, daughter Esther Gomez, and son Bennie Rivera who she will be missed deeply and remembered by always. She also leaves her loving 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren from both the Gomez and Rivera families who were very near and dear to her heart. Her presence, humor and affection will be greatly missed. When Nina wasn't with family creating memories, her greatest joy was spending time with close friends in the heart of Humboldt Park engaging in the rich Puerto Rican culture with music, food and great company.
