Austrevich, Miles Paul 20 of Chicago; December 23, 2012. After a four-year struggle with cancer, Miles died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Miles graduated from Chicago's Northside College Preparatory High School and, after deferral, had planned to attend Yale University in the coming year. He is survived by his father Leonard Austrevich, his mother Adriene Booth, his step-father Rick Nelson and his brother Leland Nelson. Miles is deeply missed by all...friends, caregivers and any who were ever touched by his generous spirit, consideration of others, curiosity and inspired intellect. Miles is, in the words of a former teacher, 'one of the good guys...real good guys'. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 12-5pm at Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago. A memorial service will be held in Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 4pm at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
