Michael J. Gavin- passed away 7-21-18.  Michael was born in Chicago on 8-19-39 to parents William & Mary Gavin, now deceased along with brothers William (Buddy), John, James & sister Noreen Penny.  Michael is survived by brothers Martin, Patrick & sisters, Virginia & Kathleen Cooke & many nieces & nephews.  Michael worked at the Merchandise Mart Bank & was chosen to learn & work on the New Computer System as a Programmer when the system first came out.  In 1983, Michael moved to Las Vegas, worked at Sears and became the Top Salesman on the West Coast selling TV's & Sound Systems.  At a younger age Michael took up dancing as a hobby, Ballroom & Ballet, & performed at the Chicago Civic Light Opera at times.  Michael loved to Ski, locally and in Europe.  Michael's greatest qualities were Honesty, Generosity & a willingness to help others especially the homeless.
