Erskine, Michael Francis, age 87, passed away on February 5th, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Flaherty) for over 58 years. Cherished father of James (Sophia), John, and Christopher (Lydia).  Proud grandfather of Michael, Tim, and Samantha Erskine, and Christopher and Alec Reinke.  Preceded in his death by his parents, the late Cornelius and Mary (nee Byrne) of Donegal, Ireland; Dear brother to the late Mary and Jack Sullivan, Kay, Sallie and Jim Miller, Cornelius and Jane Erskine, Joseph and Beverly Erskine, and Peggy Erskine.  Brother-in-law to Patrick and the late Jeanne Flaherty, the late Tom and Mary Lou Flaherty, the late Mary and Jack O'Keeffe, Lynn and the late Jack Flaherty, Julie and the late Jim Flaherty.  Fond uncle and friend to many. Retired IBEW Local 134 Electrician for the City of Chicago, and Korea War Veteran.  Visitation on Tuesday from 3:00 - 8:00 at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge. Funeral Wednesday, at St. Juliana Church, 7400 West Touhy Ave., Chicago, for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment private.
