Michael Britt, 57 of Park Ridge, Il. Passed away on August 13, 2015 at his home from ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease. He worked for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services for 30 years in many roles including child abuse investigator and Day Care Licensing Supervisor. Michael was a strong supporter of child protection. He was an active man who loved his family, enjoyed his friends, was dedicated to helping others, and was a life-long White Sox fan. He is survived by his wife, Randee Britt, his daughter, Joni Britt, nephew, David Wolinsky, sister-in-law Cindy Rosner, mother, Marilyn Britt, brothers, Jim (Christina) and John ( Carolyn) Britt, and sisters Beth Britt and Karen (Mark) Moscrip. The family is grateful for all the support received from friends, neighbors, and community. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 19, 2015 at Moretti's Restaurant 6727 N.
