Matthew Tufano, age 48, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 1, 2025.

Beloved son to Louise (and late Bob Roth) and Ronald Tufano. Loving nephew and cousin, proud uncle to many, dear step brother and an amazing friend to all who knew him. Matt loved Chicago sports, particularly his Cubbies. He was always ready for a game of ping pong, scrabble, or any kind of trivia question. His passion for movies and the entertainment industry paired well with his career of over 25 years with Local 476. Matt's hard work, dedication to detail, and intuitive understanding of what was needed on a set, endeared him to everyone he worked with. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9 th from 4-7 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Highway in Park Ridge. A Funeral Mass at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 301 S I Oka Ave, Mt. Prospect on Friday, January 10 th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Heart Association-WWW.HEART.ORG
