Marybeth Owen (nee Newton) Passed away on October 21, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Marybeth was born on April 5, 1936 to Robert and Loretta Newton. Beloved wife of James E. Owen for 65 years. Loving mother of Jim (Shari), Tim, Terrence (Carla), Katie and Michael (Kristin). Proud Nana of Ashley, Brittany, Zachary, Christian, Bradley, Marisa, Jimmy, Henry and Elizabeth and cherished great-grandmother of Sloane. Dear sister of Suzanne (Thomas) Sexton and Robert (the late Linda) Newton; aunt and godmother of many nieces and nephews. Dear lifelong friend of many including the "Coffee Ladies" from St. Hilary's.

Marybeth will be remembered for her deep faith shown in her dedication to the many activities at St. Hilary and St. Juliana Parishes including Eucharistic minister, lector, bible study, CHRP, SPRED, mother's club and scouts/brownies.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge.
