Sheridan, Mary A. "Maureen" (nee Sweeney), 82, passed away peacefully April 21st. Beloved wife of John E. "Jack".  Cherished mother of John (Elizabeth Mason), Thomas (Paulla Carpenter) and Mary (Taleb) El Bekkali.  Devoted grandmother of Pamula Glazer; Deliah and Ilias El Bekkali. Loving daughter of the late Francis and Bridget (nee Fergus). Dear sister of the late Franklin (Mary Olive) Sweeney.  Dedicated daughter-in-law of the late Austin and Elizabeth Sheridan (nee Frain). Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Maureen was a kind and generous woman, loved by all who knew her. A long-time parishioner of St. Edward's Church, founding member of Irish American Heritage Center, member of Northwest Board of Realtors, past president of St. Anne's Sodality, and recipient of National Catholic Woman of the Year Award.  Our deep gratitude to Dr. McCreary and all medical professionals who cared for her so well. Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge, Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Friday, Family & Friends are asked to meet at St. Edward Church, 4350 W. Sunnyside, Chicago, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment Abraham Lincoln Cemetery
