Mary Murray Gersch Marchlewski, 56, of Chicago passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018.  She was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Rosella Murray who she rejoins in Heaven along with her siblings, Little Joe, John and Kathleen.  Mary was an active member of Immaculate Conception Parish, where she used the gift she received to serve others in God's grace through more than 35 years in a variety of careers grounded in community service.  She loved her growing family, quality time at her father's lake house and any chance to share in the happiness of other's.  Mary (Andy, Frank) was the devoted mother of Mickey and Timothy (Ryan) Gersch; the dear sister of Susan, Jayne, Patti Jo (Domnick), Michael (Cathy), Charlene, Timothy (Kelly) and James (Rita), and the fond aunt, cousin and godmother of many.  Friends of the family may visit at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Highway, Park Ridge, IL, on Tuesday, Jan. 30, from 3 until 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place Wednesday (Jan 31) 9:30am prayers for a 10am Mass at Immaculate Conception, 7211 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven, Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of Providence in Chicago.
