Marion G. Ryan (nee Blumenthal) born December 08, 1920 from Morton Grove, IL formally from  Evanston, IL passed away peacefully on June 22, 2023.  Beloved wife of late Robert Ryan.  Survived by two daughters Patricia (Jon) Sands and Michelle.  Dearest grandma of Eli and Ryan Sands.  Preceded in death by her brother Bernard Blumenthal. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Marion was a passionate lover of baseball especially the Chicago Cubs (season ticket holder since 1984). Loved her garden and most of all her numerous dogs throughout the years.

She will be greatly missed by all, especially Eli and Ryan. Her guidance, strength and stubbornness throughout the years will continue to lead her family in life.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Interment private. Donations can be made to Almost Home Foundation or an  animal charity of your choice.
