Mario Paez Jr. lost his battle to cancer on August 7, 2022 at the age of 71, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beautiful wife Mary Kay (nee Geraghty), two loving daughters Lauren (Jake Gradman) and Alexis, proud papa to Gemma, and devoted brother to Gerry Paez. Mario is also survived by a large extended family. He was a friend to all who crossed his path and will be extremely missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. Mario will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17th from 3pm-9pm.at Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W Irving Park Rd Chicago, IL 60618.

Funeral will be held Thursday, August 18th at 10am at St. Vincent DePaul Chicago. Interment private.
