Marian Kulterman, 95, was a remarkable woman who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She was independent, strong, and full of life.

Marian knew what she wanted and liked doing things her own way. She could be a little stubborn at times, but that was part of what made her Marian. Even at 95, she lived on her own, cooked her own meals, managed her finances, and took care of the everyday details of life. She was incredibly organized and proud of being able to take care of herself.

Music was a big part of Marian’s life. She especially loved opera and was also a talented cabaret singer.

Marian was preceded in death by Ed Kulterman, her beloved husband of more than 50 years. She is survived by her son, Bill, and his wife, Marilee, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Everyone who knew Marian loved her. She’ll be remembered for her warmth, determination, and one-of-a-kind personality.

For 95 years, Marian lived life her way—with determination, a song in her heart, and, when the moment called for it, a very dry martini.
