Margret McKendry nee Stukel, of Park Ridge, IL, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026. Born June 7, 1940 to Stephen and Mary Stukel in Chicago, IL. Loving wife to the late Erwin (Mac) McKendry and the late Gary Hettinger. She is survived by her devoted daughter Victoria Lynn (Mark) Foldvary. Grandmother of Nicholas and Michaell Foldvary. Great Grandmother to Mack Foldvary. Margret was also a fond sister to Patricia Jacobsen, Catherine (the late George) Ryback, the late Lorraine (James) Genovaldi and the late Stephen (Olivia)Stukel. Lively and vivacious aunt and “Mimi” to many. Margie was caring, generous, a seasoned traveler, and an avid reader. Margret’s wit, grit and energetic personality lit up a room before she even entered. She was loved by all.

Services will be held Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 3-7p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy. Park Ridge, IL 60068. Funeral Services on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Our Lady of Ransom Church, 8300 N. Greenwood Ave. Niles, IL 60714. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
