Margaret M. (Peggy) Andersen, 75, passed away surrounded by family on August 31, 2022. Daughter of the late Allen F. Bollin (ret. CFD) and the late RoseMarie Bollin.  Wife of the late Dennis R. Andersen. Sister to the late James (the late Charliene) Bollin (ret. CPD), the late Allen F. Bollin Jr. (ret. CFD), Timothy (Cathleen) Bollin, Robert (Lisa) Bollin and the late Patrick Bollin.  Devoted Mother to Erin (Richard) Leary, Matthew (Carla) Andersen (CFD), and Daniel Andersen. Loving  Bebo to Matthew Andersen, Jonathan Andersen, Zachary Andersen, Jack Andersen, Nicholas Andersen, Julia Leary, Ronan Leary and Joseph Andersen.  Fond aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to many.  Peggy loved to travel and spend time with her family and many friends, particularly the "Club", her  group of friends for 50+ years. She retired from United Airlines 10 years ago, but continued to be very involved with the United Mainliners Club. She also took advantage of her retiree benefits to travel the U.S and the world, often with one of her grandchildren in tow. Her kindness, care and sense of humor are already missed.  Visitation Tuesday 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.  Funeral service Wednesday a.m.  at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
