Obituary

Lynne  "Lynnie B." Boehringer, 53, died peacefully in the comfort of her own home on January 13, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. Her devoted friends and her firm belief in God supported her through her long battle with liver disease.

Lynne Therese Boehringer was born on April 26, 1964 to William and Cleo Boehringer, an Orthodontist and Dental Hygienist/Homemaker.

She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Masters degree in Accounting followed by a Doctorate in Law from the University of Wisconsin. She moved to her beloved Chicago, where she created a beautiful home on Astor Street. She was an Associate Attorney for Winston & Strawn, LLP; In-house legal consultant for Abbott Laboratories, and also Egon Zehnder International in its Life Science Practice Group.  She achieved Partner in the Chicago office of TMPWorldwide Executive Search, Health-care Sector and Legal Practice. She was a strong fundraiser for the U.S. Ski Team, member of her Condo Association Board, and Deacon for Christ Church Lake Forest, Illinois where she was re-baptized.

Blessed with hundreds of friends with whom she shared a zest for life, Lynne was a devout Christian, avid golfer, competitive paddle tennis player, creative bargain hunter, skilled down-hill skier, animal lover and loving mother to Sparky, her feline companion. She is dearly missed by her friends and family, who celebrate her life and take comfort in knowing that Lynne, beautiful, witty, and generous, lived life to its fullest and chose her own path.

She is survived by her loving parents, William and Cleo in Snowmass Colorado; Brother Bill in Aspen Colorado; Sister Leigh Boehringer Latham (Husband Jeff and their Children, Evan and Elise Latham) Indianapolis, Indiana.
