Lucille Viola Coughlin (nee Fischer) at 102 passed away after a long illness. Beloved wife of the late Daniel P.; loving mother of Rev. Daniel P. and Timothy J. and the late Luanne Pfaller; dear grandmother of Michael (Patricia) Pfaller, Mary Ellen Pfaller, Megan (Gary) Boydston, Patrick (Tracy) Pfaller, Gerald (Christina) Pfaller and Melody Mohr and great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren; mother-in-law of Benedict Pfaller. Her presence and prayers will be missed by nephew Walt Fischer and his wife Donna as well as many branches of the Coughlin family. Lou a life-long Chicagoan, graduated from Lake View High School in 1930. She is remembered by many and especially for her ushering at Wrigley Field until she was 95! She lived to rejoice as the Chicago Cubs, in a nail-biting seven games, won the 2016 World Series! Visitation at Queen of All Saints Basilica, Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 A.M.. Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M.. Interment All Saints Cemetery. The family is grateful for the care given Lucille these past years at The Breakers with the assistance Home Alone services and recently, at Presence Health Center in Park Ridge, Il.. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago, 7430 N. Ridge Blvd., Chicago, Il. 60645.
