We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2022, at the age of 58, Lisa J Leyden (Elburn, Illinois) peacefully passed away surrounded by her husband and children.

Loving wife of Pat Leyden. Cherished mother of Patrick, Kara, James, and Hayden Leyden. Adored sister of Lynn (Dave) McLaren. Beloved aunt to nephews Garret, Austin, Bradley, and Brendan and nieces Taylor, Emily, and Erin. She was preceded in death by her loving parents George and Janet Tyhurst. Survived by her caring in-laws Jim (Shelia), Jimmy, and Tommy (Tracy) Leyden.

Lisa enjoyed reading captivating novels by the water, either the pool or lake, and making memories with her family and friends.

Family and friends will gather Friday, February 11 at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church 9401 S. Oakley, Chicago, IL for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. where masks will be required to attend church. A celebration of life will follow at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W 115th St, Merrionette Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptismal Garden.
