Kim Annette Eriksson, 73, passed away at her home in Chicago on Friday, April 28, 2017. She was born on January 21, 1944 in Elgin, Il. and was the daughter of Robert F. and Rose Annette (Pederson) Mason. She was a graduate of Elgin High School and received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. She also held an advanced degree in Psychology. She was a resident of Chicago for most of her life and was employed by the state of Illinois. She enjoyed the opera, traveling and was an avid reader. Surviving are her son, Daniel Burnham of Brooklyn, New York; and her brother Rob (Diane) Mason of Elgin; two nephews Paul and Craig (Taylor) Mason; and many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of ones choice.
