Kevin Fay age 89, native of Drumnaveigh, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, Ireland, passed away peacefully September 9th,  surrounded by his family.  Loving husband of the late Mary (nee Molyneaux) for 40 years. Educated in Stravicnabo National School. Devoted son of the late James and Katie Fay (nee Smith).  Cherished father of Kathy (George), Regis (Cathy), Bernie (Mary Ann), Kenny (Arlen), Dympna (Rob), Frank (Taryn), Sharon (John) and Rebecca (Larry). Proud grandfather of Kevin, Kyle (Katie) and Ryan Bigoness, Declan, Kevin, Brendan,  Quinn, Brian, Evan, Stephanie, Lisa, John, Joe, & Molly Fay, Emily O'Hara (William) Aidan & Nolan Hart, Riley McInerney, Sean & Lauren Decker, Trent (Anna), Keith and Olivia and his great-grandchildren: Isabella Bigoness, Evelyn O'Hara and Delia Bigoness.  He was tenderly referred as "PaPa Kevin". Youngest of 11 children, he is survived by his sister Maeve Colby (Dublin), and preceded in death by his other siblings: Mollie, Winnie, Rose, Dympna, Sister Mary Gertrude, Bridie, John, Packie, and Ben. Kevin Fay was a respected carpenter and  homebuilder of 35 years specializing in the Chicago areas of Edison Park, Norwood Park and the suburb of Park Ridge. Always a loyal friend and favorite uncle to many- who's soft and gentle ways with carefully crafted words and genuine authenticity, will not be forgotten.   Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge on Friday from 3 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to St. Thecla Church.  Mass at 9:45 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
