Kathleen was born in New York City at the beginning of the depression, her father unable to find work moved the family back to Ireland. Kathleen was raised in Killarney where the family-owned and operated a general store. She returned to New York after graduating from school. Shortly after, she moved to Chicago. Kathleen retired from AT&T after thirty-five years. She was a long-time active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church and a volunteer at St. Joseph's hospital. Kathleen O'Sullivan is survived by cousins Jack O'Sullivan, Ann, and the late Eugene O'Sullivan, Kathleen Mooney. Niece Noreen Walker, nephews Eugene O'Sullivan Kevin O'Sullivan, and Arthur O'Sullivan.  Preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Margret O'Sullivan of Killarney, Ireland and brother Eugene O'Sullivan of Fairfax Virginia.  A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7th At 9:00 am till the time of the mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic church 708 W Belmont ave Chicago IL 60657
