Kathleen "Katie" Simons - (nee Arndt) Beloved wife of James Redding; formerly married to Dan Simons; loving and caring mother of Elizabeth (Kevin Hanrahan), Olivia, Luke and Chloe; step mother to Jack, Terry and Conor Redding; devoted daughter of Rose (nee Sebastian) and the late Joseph Arndt; dear sister of Jaime (Mike) Erickson, Jodi Arndt, Matt (Suzy) Arndt, Meghan (Tommy) Nuzzo and Holly (Dan) Bragaw; fond aunt and cousin of many. Visitation Sunday 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy Park Ridge. Funeral Service Monday, 11 a.m. at Cooney Funeral Home. Interment private.
