Karen Ann Sabaduquia (nee Fitzgerald) of Hanover park, IL passed away on November 10, 2020 at the age of 64.
Karen was perky and believed in living her life with a smile on her face and a kind word for all. She & her husband Michael owned their own business (A Front Yard Full of Fun) and Karen would answer client calls with infectious enthusiasm.
Karen impacted thousands of people through her strong beliefs in volunteerism and community. She worked for the Carol Stream Park District for 7 years where she watched the children grow up and was considered a "second mother" by many of them. She oversaw outings for the seniors, as well as overseeing many events. She was also a volunteer for the Carol Stream Police Department.
Karen is survived by her husband Michael Sabaduquia and their fur-babies Ginge & Tiger. A memorial event will be planned through the Carol Stream Park District in the spring. In lieu of flowers, Michael asks that a donation be made to the Carol Stream Parks Foundation (https://www.csparks.org/foundation) on behalf of Karen.
