Karen A. Peterson, age 62, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2023.  She was the beloved wife of John, mother of Jennifer (Greg) and John; stepmother of Robyn (Jeff), Tony, and Ryan; and devoted grandmother of 7. She is survived by her brother Ron.

Karen was committed to her family and loved by many. She was generous with her time and efforts, supporting her family, friends, and community. Karen truly enjoyed assisting children on their way, safely, to and from school and during recess. Her presence will be greatly missed. Among many things, her family and friends will remember her laugh, direct honesty, and competitive love of pro sports.
