Turner, John W. "Jack" of Chicago, age 89, passed away on Jan. 25, 2014.  Devoted husband of the late Jeanne Turner, nee Cary, for 58 years.  Loving father of Robert (Judith Rogers), Daniel, Susan (John, CFD) Manchester and Marjorie (Mark) Ruff.  Beloved grandfather of nine and fond brother of Marjorie (the late Robert) Meuer.  Dear son of the late George and Marjorie (nee Simpson).  Jack was a WWII US Army veteran.  He spent most of his working years as a Fire Alarm Operator for the Chicago Fire Department.  Visitation  at Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W.
