Reverend John W. Parker -  passed away peacefully on Jan 15, 2022 at age 77.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Stella Parker;  Fr. John was the beloved brother of James (Patricia) Parker and Mary Alice McDonald;  he is survived by nieces and nephews Anne (Dan) Lotito, Ellie McDonald (Jeff Zoeller), Jim (Carrie) Finley, Michael Parker, John (Laura) Finley and Megan (Tony) Esposito; great uncle, cousin and friend of many who will leave many  past parishioners heartbroken.  During his priesthood, he devotedly served at St. Odilo, St. Andrew, Nativity of Our Lord and All Saints-St. Anthony Parishes.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a parish of your choice. Visitation Thursday at St. Gerald's Church (9310 S. 55th Ct. in Oak Lawn) from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a Mass of the Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. A livestream of Mass can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/cooneyfuneralhome Interment St. Casmir Cemetery.
