John Meenaghan, Chicago, and formerly of Derrynameel, Belmullet, Co Mayo suddenly passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents Martin & Mary Meenaghan. Sadly, missed by his loving wife Ann, his daughter Fiona, and son-in-law Steve, his brothers Paddy (Breege) Chicago, Raymond (Mary) Derrynameel, Thomas, Derrynameel, his sisters, Marian (Hugh) Chicago and Regina (Tony) Castlebar. Sadly, missed by his sisters-in-law Maura (Colmin) Boston, Mairead (Sean) Galway, brother-in-law Martin (Julie) Australia, and extended family. Fondly remembered with love by his nephews and nieces Stella, Colm, Ciaran, Martin, Martin Jo, Pol Og, Meadbh, Jack, Padraig, and Hugh, his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27th, 2022 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Highway, Park Ridge, going to St. Robert Bellarmine Church for Mass at 11:00 am.
