Dr. John D. McMahon, 88, of Park Ridge, passed away on Thursday August 11, 2022.  John was born on November 25, 1933.  He graduated from University of Michigan Dental School and practiced dentistry in Niles, IL for 60 years.  John is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Nancy (Buese); his children, Dr. John (Kathleen) McMahon, Catherine Johnson, Elizabeth (Michael)Morton, James (Diane) McMahon, Stephen (Lori) McMahon, Paul (Kelly) McMahon, son-in-law Anthony Betti, 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister, Janis Gibbons and many nieces and nephews.  John was preceded in death by his daughter, Therese Betti, his granddaughter, Megan Betti, and his brother, Dr. Jay McMahon.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 18,2022 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL.  Funeral Mass will be said on Friday, August 19,2022 at 10am at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 1809 Walters Avenue, Northbrook, IL.  Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
