Kalis, John W.  Suddenly,  Born December 16, 1934, went to Heaven on October 2, 2012. Loving son of the late Alexander and Lydia Kalis.  Dear brother to Ruth Savick, Robert, ret. C.P.D., Esther Stolarski and Sandy Mangognia.  Loving brother-in-law, beloved uncle, great-uncle and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Devoted nephew Scott, CFD (Renee, Autumn, Kristie and Jessica).  Devoted nephew and best friend Bob, (Cindy, Justin and Alex).   John loved God, life, beer, food, cigarettes, family and friends.  His witty personality, great sense of humor and funny antics always had people laughing.  He was the party wherever he went.  His singing and dancing charmed all.  John had no regrets.  He was always living in the moment.  John – you left a piece of you behind in all of us and we thank you for that! Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m.  Funeral Service Monday at 10:30 a.m.  Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
