John Cwiok, age 53, passed away of complications from a degenerative brain disease on January 20th.  John is survived by his wife, Maureen (Barry) and his children, Matt and Meghan.  John is the son of Stephanie and the late Stefan Cwiok.  John is the brother of Stella (Don) Reschke and Susan (Harry) Kinowski.  John is the brother in-law to many and uncle of eight nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at St. Emily's Church, 1400 Central Road in Mount Prospect from 9:30-11:30 on Friday January 31st.  Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in John's name to the Ataxia Foundation, www.ataxia.org.  Interment will be private.
