John Carl Carlson, known to many as Jack, 83, of Chicago, died on October 21, 2023. John was the beloved husband for 55 years of the late Therese Carlson, father of Richard Carlson (Rita) and Traci Carlson Wijas (John). Proud grandfather of Dylan and Jack Wijas., brother to the late Georgia Bauknecht and the late (Dick), late James Carlson (Eileen), Bill Carlson (Nancy), late Terrence Carlson, and Stephanie Edwards (Bob). Cherished cousin to the late Ray Ulbert and the late (Mary). Beloved brother-in-law to the late John Rojewski and the late (Pat) and Christine Green (Lanny) and cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Memorial Visitation from 10:30am- 11:00am and Funeral Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Church on November 17th.
