John Patrick Byrne, 90, of Niles IL, previously Chicago, Passed away from heart failure on April 16 ^th .  Beloved husband of 61 years to Betty (Flaherty) Byrne.  Son of the late Margaret (Mc Shane) Byrne and John Byrne.  Caring brother to the late Chuck, Frank, and Neil Byrne.  Loving father to Mary Ellen Maevski (Werner), Patty Stevens (Bob), Julie Racioppi (Mark), and John Byrne (Denise).  Adoring Papa to Cassie (Stevens) (John) Prejzner, Courtney Stevens Ally Stevens; John and Maggie Maevski; Megan and Elesabeth Racioppi; Kaylee, Hannah, Natalie, and Madalyn Byrne; And Great Papa to Maddy, Lilly, and Katelyn Prejzner.  Fond uncle to many.  Grew up in the DePaul area and raised his family in Edgebrook (neighborhood father to all).  He was an industrial real estate broker.  Graduate of DePaul Academy and Xavier University.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21st from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at Cooney Funeral Home at 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge.
